Meet The Doctor                  

Joshua Christensen, BS, DC

Dr. Christensen attended Western States Chiropractic College in Portland, Oregon where he received his Bachelor’s Degree in Human Biology and his Doctorate of Chiropractic in 2004. While studying in Portland, Dr. Christensen fell in love with the Northwest. He was happy to return to the area with his wife, Ginger, and three wonderful children. Dr. Christensen is the owner of Action Chiropractic in Tumwater, WA, and has over 15 years of experience as a doctor of chiropractic.

 Dr. Christensen is committed to providing high quality health care to all his patients and promoting health and wellness in his community. He has volunteered in various places including at the CHP free clinic and as a team doctor for a local High School soccer team to name a few. He enjoyed his years teaching as an adjunct professor of Anatomy & Physiology at Salt Lake Community College. Dr. Christensen speaks fluent Spanish and has a passion for providing care for those in under-served communities.

 He has a holistic, evidence-based approach to chiropractic utilizing multiple treatment types including hands-on adjusting, instrument adjusting, non-surgical spinal decompression, and rehabilitation exercises. He loves helping people find relief from their pain whether it's from a car accident, sports injury, or simply waking up with a stiff neck. He treats patients of all ages and promotes a family-friendly atmosphere in the clinic. Fun fact: So far, his youngest patient has been 2 weeks old and the oldest was 100 years old!
